The Voices of AkuDikau
Different voices. Different stories. One musical home.
AkuDikau is a creative music project built around stories, emotions and original songwriting. All original AkuDikau songs are written and composed by Amirul Ashraf, with each featured artist bringing their own voice, interpretation and emotional character to the music.
The voices behind AkuDikau come from different backgrounds and participate in different ways. Some are regularly featured artists, while others contribute only occasionally — as guest vocalists, backing voices or simply as part of the creative process.
Not every contributor chooses to step into the spotlight. Some prefer to remain unnamed, keeping music as something personal, private or simply done for the love and enjoyment of it.
Together, these different voices add colour, personality and unexpected character to AkuDikau’s music.
Meet some of the featured voices who bring the songs of AkuDikau to life.

Mery Eryna
There is a quiet emotional strength in the voice of Mery Eryna.
Within the AkuDikau releases, she gives life to songs that explore vulnerability, complicated relationships, heartbreak and the emotions people often carry silently. Her voice has a naturally sweet and innocent quality, giving her performances a sense of sincerity that feels intimate rather than overly dramatic.
Mery Eryna is especially drawn to sad ballads, where her vocal character is able to shine most naturally. She has the ability to move between soft, delicate lower passages and more expressive higher notes, allowing the emotion of a song to build gradually and feel believable from beginning to end.
Her performances on Hati Aku Penat and Baring Di Sini reflect this strength — both songs rely heavily on emotional restraint, vulnerability and the feeling of someone quietly carrying pain within. Rather than forcing the emotion, Mery Eryna allows it to unfold through the tone and movement of her voice.
She is currently also working on several more AkuDikau tracks, continuing to develop a vocal identity that is closely associated with emotional storytelling and heartfelt ballads.
What makes Mery Eryna stand out is the innocence within her vocal tone combined with her ability to carry sadness convincingly. Whether singing softly or reaching into the higher emotional moments of a song, she has a natural way of making the listener feel the story behind the words.

Baby Shuweet
Playful, expressive and instantly recognisable, Baby Shuweet is the youngest featured artist across AkuDikau releases, bringing a completely different personality to the music.
His performances capture youthful emotions in their simplest form — sweet affection, frustration, attachment, innocence and the wonderfully confusing contradictions that come with caring about someone.
One of Baby Shuweet’s most distinctive traits is his naturally childlike vocal delivery, complete with playful slang and stylised pronunciation that has become part of his identity. Words often take on a softer, more mischievous character in his voice — “so” may become “sho”, while “sweet” becomes his unmistakable “shuweet.” Rather than being corrected or polished away, these little vocal quirks are embraced as part of the charm that makes his performances instantly recognisable.
His personality comes through clearly in tracks such as Baby Sweet, a dance-oriented collaboration featuring Ashiez, as well as Love You Hate You and Clingy. Each song allows a different side of his character to appear — playful, cheeky, affectionate and sometimes wonderfully stubborn.
Baby Shuweet is also currently working on several upcoming AkuDikau tracks, including Sha La La La, A Song For Mama, and Round N Round, further expanding his sound from playful dance tracks to more heartfelt and emotional material.
What makes Baby Shuweet unique is that his voice does not simply perform the song — it becomes part of the song’s personality. His innocence, unusual phrasing and playful pronunciation give AkuDikau’s lighter releases a character that would be difficult to recreate with a conventional vocal style.

Syafi Naira
With a gentle and expressive vocal presence, Syafi Naira brings out the softer, more contemplative side of AkuDikau.
Her performances inhabit the space between what the heart feels and what the lips are willing to say — uncertainty, quiet hope, hesitation and emotions that gradually reveal themselves rather than demanding attention.
Syafi’s strength lies in the way she allows a song to breathe. Her delivery is naturally restrained and intimate, making her especially suited to songs where the emotion lives beneath the surface rather than in dramatic vocal gestures.
That quality can be heard in Pocket Full Of Maybes, where her voice carries a sense of uncertainty without allowing the song to lose its warmth or hopefulness. The performance reflects the idea of moving forward without having every answer — holding on to possibilities, doubts and quiet optimism at the same time.
In Hatiku Berbisik, Syafi moves into an even more inward emotional space. Her gentle delivery suits a song built around feelings that begin quietly — the kind of emotions that are first recognised internally before they are ever spoken aloud. Rather than forcing the sentiment, she lets it unfold naturally, giving the song a sense of tenderness and sincerity.
What makes Syafi Naira distinctive within AkuDikau is her ability to make subtle emotions feel important. Her voice does not need to overpower a song to leave an impression; instead, she draws the listener closer, allowing uncertainty, tenderness and quiet reflection to become the heart of the performance.
Across both Pocket Full Of Maybes and Hatiku Berbisik, Syafi shows a natural ability to carry songs that depend on emotional nuance — where what is left unsaid can sometimes be just as powerful as what is sung.

Ashiez
Ashiez is one of AkuDikau’s main featured artists, bringing a distinctive mix of introspection, attitude and character across a wide range of AkuDikau releases.
While some of his performances explore quieter themes such as self-reflection, memory and the emotions we carry within, Ashiez is equally comfortable stepping into songs with a sharper edge — from socially observant and sarcastic material to rhythmic, street-influenced and more conversational vocal styles.
His featured performances can be heard across tracks such as Sembang Tak Guna, Kau Menang, Dear Me, Salji Di Sahara, Just Like That, Yang Dikejar, Wahai Diriku, Stand By Me, and Capai Sebelum Sampai, each allowing a different side of his vocal personality to emerge.
In songs such as Dear Me and Wahai Diriku, Ashiez leans into a more reflective and personal delivery, giving the impression of an internal conversation rather than a performance directed outward. On tracks such as Sembang Tak Guna and Capai Sebelum Sampai, that character shifts considerably — his delivery becomes more conversational, gritty and expressive, allowing humour, sarcasm, social commentary and attitude to become part of the performance.
Beyond his featured roles, Ashiez also frequently contributes backing vocals to AkuDikau productions. His naturally deep, raspy voice is especially effective as a supporting vocal texture, adding weight, contrast and character behind the main performance.
This can also be heard in productions involving Baby Shuweet, where Ashiez’s deeper backing vocal provides a deliberate contrast against Baby Shuweet’s lighter, more childlike delivery.
His versatility allows him to move easily between lead and supporting roles. Whether carrying an introspective song, delivering a more rhythmic or outspoken performance, or adding depth behind another featured artist, Ashiez often becomes part of the sonic identity of the track rather than simply an additional vocal layer.
What defines Ashiez within AkuDikau is not one particular genre, but his ability to adapt his voice to the personality of the song — reflective when the lyric turns inward, rougher when the track demands attitude, and unmistakably deep and raspy when used to add texture to the wider production.

Tasha
Tasha brings a versatile and expressive vocal character to the AkuDikau releases, moving naturally between Malay and English performances.
Her voice has featured on tracks such as Ada Ku Kisah, Terbakar, Hati Yang Dinodai, Can’t You See, and I’m That Bitch, each revealing a different side of her vocal personality.
From emotionally charged performances to sharp, sarcastic delivery, Tasha has the ability to shape her voice around the character of a song. She can sound vulnerable and reflective in one track, then confident, teasing or unapologetically bold in another.
Her versatility also allows her to bring a more alluring and seductive quality when a song calls for it, making her especially effective on tracks built around attitude, tension and strong personality.
Whether performing in Malay or English, Tasha brings more than just a vocal — she brings character to the story.
